Presidential Press Secretary Dmitry Peskov, at a press briefing today, did not entirely agree with the assessment of Chinese Foreign Minister Qin Gang, who said earlier that efforts to to organize a diplomatic dialogue on Ukraine had been frustrated on several occasions, as if a sort of “invisible hand” was contributing to the continuation and escalation of the conflict.
“Here, perhaps, we can disagree with our Chinese comrades. This, of course, is a joke. Do you know what the joke is? Because this hand is not invisible, this hand is visible. And this hand is from the United States of America. This hand is from Washington, “- said Peskov, noting that this “hand” is clearly opposed to the end of the war.
“It’s the visible hand,” summarized the official representative of the Kremlin.
