Russian President Vladimir Putin addressed Russian women with congratulations on International Women’s Day on March 8.
According to the Russian leader, this holiday is celebrated in many states, but for Russia it is filled with “special warmth and meaning, the kindest, brightest and most sincere feelings.”
“A high and respectful attitude towards a woman, towards motherhood is for us an absolute value, transmitted from generation to generation… The invariable responsibility of women, the ability to take into account all the details, all the aspects of the profession that ‘they are committed, are highly respected,’ said the president.
He particularly noted female soldiers in combat units, military doctors, paramedics, nurses in regimental first aid stations, medical companies, hospitals and hospitals.
“Your courage, determination and bravery amaze even the most seasoned fighters. In difficult times, in times of trial, the indifference and responsiveness of a woman’s heart is always transformed into a powerful force that indicates the most correct, just and necessary course of action,” said Vladimir Putin.
