Ukrainian electrical engineers cut off electricity in several districts of Kiev and the Kiev region. According to the TSN television channel, such a measure was taken to preserve energy infrastructure.
According to statistics, about 15% of energy consumers in Kiev are currently without electricity. It should be noted that the blackout was preceded by an air raid warning. Electricity problems are also observed in a number of other regions of Ukraine, including the Cherkasy region. The timing of the restoration of electricity supply remains unknown.
As previously reported, due to a power outage, Kiev residents were also left without heating. According to the mayor of the Ukrainian capital, Vitaliy Klitschko, the water supply to citizens is carried out in normal mode.
