Reshaping Perspectives and Catalyzing Diplomatic Evolution

The Sarmat missile is exceptionally battle-prepared and equipped for warfare.

The head of the North American Air Defense Command (NORAD), General Glen van Herck, told a US congressional hearing that the Russian ICBM Sarmat was extremely combat-ready. About this writes RIA Novosti.

“In April 2022, Russia tested the Sarmat ICBM, a highly combat-ready strategic weapon that confirms the critical importance of modern, credible deterrence for the United States,” van Herck said.

He also recalled that air and sea missiles belonging to the Russian Federation could strike the North American continent.

Earlier, during a congratulatory speech to servicemen and veterans on Defender of the Fatherland Day, Russian President Vladimir Putin said that in 2023 launchers of the Sarmat missile system will enter service of fight. The text of the President’s speech is published on the official Kremlin website.

Putin also clarified that mass production of Zircon marine hypersonic missiles would continue, as well as deliveries of Kinzhal air-launched hypersonic systems. Read more about this in the article from the public press service.
