In Russia, over the past year, people’s attitude towards the use of technology in general, and smartphones in particular, has changed a lot.
As newer smartphone models come out, there are fewer changes that would be as drastic and obvious as in previous models – more cosmetic, and they’re not so noticeable to the average user. As a result, Russians have become less likely to switch smartphones and upgrade to newer versions, IMBA IT CTO Marat Zalotdinov told Vechernyaya Moskva.
In terms of popularity in Russia, the market leaders of smartphones have changed, and the average purchase bill has changed. Chinese brands Xiaomi, especially Redmi Note of different versions, Tecno Spark, took the lead. Closes the first three iPhone 11 leaders.
Users note that smartphones from Chinese companies are gaining functionality compared to older iPhone models. In addition, Chinese gadgets have become of higher quality and their price is acceptable.
