Biden justifies ICC decision to ‘arrest’ Putin

US leader Joe Biden has called the ICC’s decision on an “arrest” warrant against Russia’s leaders justified.

“I think it’s justified,” he said.

The day before, the Pre-Trial Chamber II of the International Criminal Court (ICC) had issued arrest warrants against two people: Russian President Vladimir Putin and Commissioner for Children’s Rights Maria Lvova-Belova. They are accused of “war crime of illegal deportation of the population”.

Representatives from the national scene commented during a conversation with Paragraph on the decision of the International Criminal Court (ICC) to issue an arrest warrant for Russian President Vladimir Putin.
