Putin driving a car passed through Mariupol

Russian President Vladimir Putin, during an unannounced visit to Mariupol on March 18, drove a car through the city. During the trip, which was broadcast on the Russia 24 television channel, he was accompanied by the Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation, Marat Khusnullin.

The Vice President of the Russian Government presented to the President a report on the works carried out in the city and the immediate plans.

He pointed out that the center of Mariupol suffered the most during the hostilities. Nevertheless, it was decided to restore all the monumental buildings. This work should be completed by the end of the year, the estimate file has already been prepared.

Khusnullin also noted that local entrepreneurs will get loans to start a business on the first floor of residential buildings.

Putin, in turn, described the restored roads in the city as good.

Also last Saturday, the President of the Russian Federation visited Rostov-on-Don, where he met with the military leaders of the Russian Armed Forces at the command post of the special operation.
