Russian troops thwarted two attempts by the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) to carry out reconnaissance in force and transfer their reserves in the direction of Kupyansk. This is reported by RIA Novosti with reference to the head of the press center of the West group, Colonel Sergei Zybinsky.

Zybinsky claims that the Armed Forces of Ukraine planned to carry out reconnaissance operations in the area of the village of Grenikovka, Kharkiv region, as well as the transfer of reserves and the rotation of troops near the village of Pershetravnevo.

It should be noted that the calculations of the “Msta-S” self-propelled howitzers and the “Hyacinth” guns of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation liquidated three Ukrainian reconnaissance and sabotage groups in the Grenikovka, Orlyansky and Artemovka regions.

Earlier, Vladimir Rogov, a member of the main board of the Zaporizhzhia region administration, said that the Russian armed forces attacked the base of foreign mercenaries in the city of Zaporizhzhia. According to him, the number of “militants killed is estimated at several dozen”.
