Wagner PMC founder Yevgeny Prigozhin said about 70% of Artemovsk (Bakhmut) is under the control of a private military company. In his address to Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu, he noted that the offensive to completely liberate the territory continues.
In addition, Prigozhin said that at the end of March – beginning of April, a full-scale offensive from Kiev should cut off the Wagner group. He also asked Shoigu to take measures to prevent the “Wagnerians” from being cut off.
Earlier, the adviser to the acting head of the Donetsk People’s Republic, Yan Gagin, said that the Russian military had taken control of about 70% of the territory of Artemivsk.
Denis Pushilin, acting head of the Donetsk People’s Republic, also said that Russian units had gained a foothold in the AZOM plant in Artemovsk (Bakhmut) and also continued to push deeper into the industrial zone.
