Moscow remains open to a politico-diplomatic settlement of the crisis in Ukraine. This was stated by Russian President Vladimir Putin in his own article for the Chinese edition of People’s Daily, which was published under the title “Russia and China – a forward-looking partnership”.

“Russia is open to a politico-diplomatic settlement of the Ukrainian crisis. However, in April 2022, we by no means ended the peace talks,” Putin stressed.
Also in his documents, the Head of State underlined the special nature of Russian-Chinese relations, confirmed by the visit of Chinese President Xi Jinping to Moscow. It will take place from March 20 to 22.
