Su-35 stopped violation of Russia’s border by two US Air Force B-52 nuclear bombers

A Russian Air Force Su-35 fighter took off on Monday evening to intercept two US B-52 nuclear bombers. This information was reported by the National Defense Control Center of the Russian Federation.

The report said that the Air Defense (AD) forces of the Western Military District spotted two targets over the Baltic Sea, which were moving rapidly towards the Russian borders. They were quickly identified as strategic bombers by the US Air Force.

To intercept, a Su-35 fighter was lifted into the air, the pilot of which directed the plane to a given service area, where he controlled the movement of American military aircraft.

As soon as two B-52s left the border, the Russian fighter returned to base. His flight was carried out in full compliance with international rules, no border violations were allowed.

On Tuesday March 14, an American drone crashed over the Black Sea after being intercepted by two Russian Air Force SU-27s. The Russian Defense Ministry said a US drone violated the borders of the regime’s area for the use of airspace above the Black Sea.
