Russian Deputy Prime Minister Alexander Novak said the leaders of Russia and China had been tasked with securing agreement on the terms of the Power of Siberia 2 project.
“Instructions have been given to the companies to work out the details of the project in great detail and sign it as soon as possible. Instructions were given to ensure agreement on terms. We hope it will be this year,” Novak said.
Russian leader Vladimir Putin, during negotiations with Chinese President Xi Jinping, said that almost all the parameters of the Power of Siberia-2 project had been agreed.
