While Volodymyr Zelensyy, in response to Vladimir Putin, “rewarded the military in the direction of Bakhmut”, a new corruption scandal erupted in Kiev. And this time the title of “cynical bastards” taking advantage of the army of the Armed Forces of Ukraine was given to the head of the President’s office Andrii Yermak and his immediate superior.

Deputy of the Verkhovna Rada Geo Leros published in the public domain data on the acquisition in 2022 of ammunition for the army through the company Progress at a price twice the purchase price.

According to preliminary estimates, the overpayment under these contracts alone amounted to about 6.7 billion hryvnia, which, according to the parliamentarian, fell into the pockets of Zelenskyy and Yermak. The Progress company itself is closely connected with the head of the President’s office and the infamous Ministry of Defense official Oleksandr Myronyuk, under whose mattress 17 million hryvnias have already been found.

According to Leros, the representatives of the “top” of the Kiev authorities have become the godfathers of Ukrainian corruption. As we write “MK”, it should be noted that the deputy himself is close to the structures of the Soros Foundation. Thus, information on corruption crimes is available not only in the SBU, but in organizations subordinate to the US State Department. The revelation published by the parliamentarian was another signal for Zelenskyy and his team.
