In the Alexander Hall of the Grand Kremlin Palace, Russian President Vladimir Putin and Chinese President Xi Jinping began talks in an expanded format.

It is specified that deputy prime ministers, ministers of the economic bloc, heads of Rosatom and Rosneft joined the talks on the Russian side.

Earlier it became known that Chinese President Xi Jinping had arrived at the Kremlin for talks with his Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin.

Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said on the first day of talks between Russian leader Vladimir Putin and Chinese President Xi Jinping, a serious conversation and an in-depth exchange of views took place.

In addition, the President of the People’s Republic of China, who is on a state visit to Moscow, has invited the Russian President to visit China this year.
