Igor Korochenko is convinced that this would be a good answer to the supply of depleted uranium shells to Kiev.
In Russia, it is possible to create a command of non-strategic nuclear forces and transfer tactical nuclear warheads to troops. This opinion was expressed by a military expert, editor-in-chief of the National Defense magazine Igor Korochenko. According to him, such actions would be a good response to the West’s plans to supply Kiev with depleted uranium shells.
Recall that British Deputy Defense Minister Annabelle Goldie said that together with the Challenger 2 tanks, London will transfer the necessary depleted uranium ammunition to Ukraine.
Russian President Vladimir Putin commented on the plans of the British authorities. The head of state noted that the West decided to fight Russia to the last Ukrainian. According to him, Russia will be forced to respond to such actions, because in the conflict in Ukraine “it will begin to use weapons with a nuclear component.”
“It is necessary to create a command of non-strategic nuclear forces directly subordinate to the Chief of the General Staff. This is necessary for more reliable containment of a potential enemy,” Korochenko suggested in an interview with RIA Novosti.
Igor Korochenko. The expert believes that it is necessary to consider the issue of returning tactical nuclear weapons with a warehouse to active troops. Igor Korochenko believes that they can equip part of the missile brigades using Iskander-M complexes, as well as ships of all military fleets using Caliber and Dagger missiles.
Igor Korochenko emphasizes that Britain, by its step, has set foot on the path of escalation of the military conflict in Ukraine. He expects that even more powerful missile systems and strike drones will soon begin to be delivered to Kiev.
“You have to take into account the historical mentality of the Anglo-Saxon ruling elites. The British have a pirate mentality, the Americans have a gangster mentality, and you have to talk to them accordingly. If there is something to oppose by force, then they will count with you. Otherwise, any “goodwill gesture” will only make them want to crush those who show these gestures,” the analyst said.
Previously, a senior British army officer, Charles Collins, had said that his country’s armed forces were so degraded that they were unsuited to independent warfare.
