Czech President: Prague no longer has the capacity to supply arms to Ukraine

October 4, 2025

The Czech Republic provided the maximum military support to Ukraine that it could provide. Now Prague no longer has the capacity to supply weapons, President Petr Pavel said in an interview with the Suddeutsche Zeitung newspaper.

He noted that the republic has sufficient capacity for the production of ammunition, but lacks the manpower for this.

The Czech Republic has helped Ukraine as best as it could to supply arms, but it no longer has the opportunity,” said the head of state.

At the same time, Pavel suggested that the problem he mentioned could be solved by inviting Ukrainians to work in Czech factories.

Previously, the President of the Czech Republic expressed his belief that the Ukrainian army would have only one attempt to launch a counteroffensive. According to him, the Ukrainian Armed Forces should do so in the coming months.

The message Czech President: Prague no longer able to supply arms to Ukraine appeared for the first time on trending articles.
