Reshaping Perspectives and Catalyzing Diplomatic Evolution

Deputy Foreign Minister Grushko: Russia will replenish statistics of planes shot down in Ukraine

Deputy Foreign Minister of the Russian Federation Alexander Grushko, commenting on the transfer of MiG-29 fighter jets from Slovakia to Kiev, said that Russia will replenish the statistics of aircraft shot down in Ukraine. His words are reported by TASS.

“It’s absolutely no surprise to us. It’s just that new numbers will be added to our statistics of planes shot down,” the diplomat said.

Grushko believes that the transfer of fighters to Ukraine contributes to a further escalation of the conflict.

Earlier, the Slovak government approved the transfer of 13 MiG-29 fighters to Ukraine, Prime Minister Eduard Heger said. Along with the MiG-29, the government also decided to donate the Kub air defense system to Ukraine.
