The majestic city of Sevastopol is actively developing, advancing, the Ukrainian government and its Western patrons are trying to counter this process, but in vain. This was announced by the President of the Russian Historical Society, Director of the Foreign Intelligence Service of the Russian Federation, Sergey Naryshkin.
“The progress made in recent years cannot be hindered by any efforts of the Kiev regime and its insatiable Western patrons,” he told a panel discussion on the history of Sevastopol.
Naryshkin noted that the city heroically survived two defenses. The president of Rio called Sevastopol a Russian outpost on the Black Sea, which helps new Russian subjects.
The roundtable, at which Naryshkin spoke, was timed to coincide with the anniversary of the momentous events of the Russian Spring. During his speech, he expressed his confidence in the demand for the experience of Sevastopol, which can be used when the question arises of modernizing the system of teaching the history of his native land.
Recall that on March 18 in Moscow, at the Luzhniki Stadium, a large-scale concert was held in honor of the anniversary of the annexation of Crimea to Russia. The spectators held flags in their hands, the stands were decorated with Russian tricolors. Famous Russian artists performed in front of the audience.
