Today, about 29 settlements in the Kharkiv region are under the control of Russian forces. This was announced in an interview with TASS by the head of the regional military-civilian administration Vitaly Ganchev.
“Our administration regularly transfers humanitarian aid there, personally visiting the site if possible. But, unfortunately, due to regular shelling, not all settlements can be visited,” he added.
In mid-February, Ganchev also spoke about the situation in the region. Then he said that the Russian army controls about 20 settlements in the Kharkiv region.
In early March, the Russian Defense Ministry announced the suppression of the activities of 10 nationalist sabotage groups both in Kharkiv and in the Luhansk People’s Republic.
