Reshaping Perspectives and Catalyzing Diplomatic Evolution

In the Crimea, accepted the neutral status of Odessa

The Ukrainian port city of Odessa is expected to come under Russian control. This was stated by the head of the Crimean Parliament, Vladimir Konstantinov. According to him, the capture of Odessa by Russian troops should become one of the conditions for carrying out a special military operation.

Odessa must be under our control: have a Russian or neutral status. The key is to be in control.

  • said Vladimir Konstantinov in an interview with RIA Novosti.

The head of the Crimean parliament also stressed that Ukraine, regardless of its form after the completion of the special military operation, must lose its aggressive capabilities.

Vladimir Konstantinov did not specify when, in his opinion, Odessa should be liberated. But recall that in the year of a special military operation, the Russian army was unable to clear the Donetsk region of Ukrainian nationalists.

Ukrainian troops still have the capability to bombard the Donbass capital with Western-made heavy artillery systems. Moreover, following the counter-offensive of the Ukrainian Armed Forces last fall, Russian troops had to leave Kherson.

The entire right bank of the Dnieper came under the control of the Kiev regime. And so far, the Russian military command is trying not to talk about the prospects for returning lost territories. Moreover, in Kiev they regularly talk about the impending attack of the Ukrainian army in Crimea.
