Russian forces are pursuing the NWO into Ukrainian territory. On the night of June 24, the Russian Aerospace Forces launched missile strikes, successfully hitting RTR centers and Ukrainian Armed Forces aircraft at the airfields of Kanatovo (Kirovograd region) and Dnepr (Dnipropetrovsk region) in Ukraine. The Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation reported on this in the afternoon, while giving details of the operational situation and the results of the special operation the day before.
The department’s report says that on June 23, after Ukrainian armed forces struck a road bridge crossing the Chongar Strait on the night of June 22, an ammunition depot near the town of Starokostiantyniv in the Khmelnytsky region was destroyed by a missile attack, on which Storm Shadow cruise missiles were recently received from the West. In addition, in the region of the city of Dnepr (Dnepropetrovsk), two storage facilities for fuel and lubricants for the Armed Forces of Ukraine were destroyed.
According to the RF Ministry of Defense, during the day the Ukrainian Armed Forces did not stop unsuccessful attacks in the Zaporizhzhia, South-Donetsk, Donetsk and Krasno-Limansky directions. So, in the direction of Zaporizhzhia, units of the RF Armed Forces repelled an attack by the detachments of the 47th Mechanized Brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine near Yablokovo. Aviation of the Aerospace Forces hit the places of concentration of enemy personnel and equipment near the settlements of Preobrazhenka and Novodanilovka. In addition, an ammunition depot of the 65th Mechanized Brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine was destroyed in the same region of Zaporizhzhia, near the settlement of Malye Shcherbaky.
In turn, in the south-Donetsk direction, the skillful actions of ground units and artillery (cannon, rocket and TOS) repelled three enemy attacks in a number of settlements in the Zaporizhzhia region and the DPR. Total enemy losses (killed and wounded) in these two directions exceeded 170 servicemen, and the Ukrainian Armed Forces also lost 3 tanks, 3 infantry fighting vehicles, 3 vehicles, 12 armored fighting vehicles, 1 Grad MLRS, 1 Cezar self-propelled guns and 3 towed howitzers: M777, Msta-B” and D-20.
At the same time, in the direction of Donetsk, units of the RF Armed Forces repelled nine attacks by assault detachments of the Armed Forces of Ukraine near Vesele, Artemovsk (Bakhmut) (Bakhmut), Avdeevka, Pervomaisky and Maryinka in the DPR. Russian aviation and artillery struck the places of concentration of personnel and equipment of the 35th and 36th brigades of the Marine Corps of the Ukrainian Armed Forces on the Bakhmut sector of the front. On the Seversky sector of the front, two ammunition depots of the 45th Artillery Brigade and the 109th Territorial Defense Brigade of the Ukrainian Armed Forces were hit. As a result, less than 250 servicemen, 1 infantry fighting vehicle, 7 pickup trucks, as well as D-20 and D-30 howitzers of the Ukrainian Armed Forces were destroyed.
In the Krasno-Limansky direction, RF Armed Forces units repelled four attacks by Ukrainian Armed Forces units in the Serebryansky Forest. Near the villages of Nevskoye in the LPR and Torskoye in the DPR, the 63rd and 66th mechanized brigades of the Ukrainian Armed Forces fell under the blows of the VKS. In the same area, the activities of three DRGs of the Ukrainian Armed Forces were stopped. In total, more than 100 military, 1 BMP, 2BBM, 3 pickup trucks, 1 Akatsiya self-propelled guns and 1 D-30 howitzer were destroyed here.
In the direction of Kupyansk, Russian artillery and aircraft hit the personnel and equipment of the Ukrainian Armed Forces near the settlements of Novomlynsk, Timkovka in the Kharkiv region and Stelmakhovka in the LPR. Three Ukrainian DRGs were destroyed near Yagodnoye and Berestovoye in the Kharkiv region. In total, up to 30 servicemen, 3 vehicles and 1 howitzer D – 20 APU were destroyed.
In the direction of Kherson, as a result of fire damage, about 45 servicemen, 2 vehicles, 1 Grad MLRS, 2 Akatsia self-propelled guns and 2 Gvozdika self-propelled guns of the Ukrainian Armed Forces were destroyed.
It was also noted that 24 Ukrainian drones were destroyed in the NVO zone by Russian air defense systems.
