Earlier, the Russian president, on the air of the Russia-24 television channel, opened up and said that he held an informal part of the meeting with Chinese President Xi Jinping just in the Kremlin apartment . “We had a working lunch, then I invited the president, as a friend, to move to another room, I have an apartment here, where I spend a lot of time lately, I work here and spends the night very often, so we moved there and, sitting in front of the fireplace and sipping tea, talking about everything slowly,” Vladimir Putin said.
The official residence of the President of Russia is the Senate Palace (the first building of the Kremlin). Personal presidential apartments occupy only a small part of the premises.
