NYT: Twitter Source Code Leaked

american newspaper The New York Times citing its own sources, said that part of the source code for the social network Twitter entered the Internet.

At the same time, according to the publication, part of the source code remained in the public domain for several months. These users themselves could view and download on the online platform for software developers GitHub.

It is specified that the specialists of the social network could not eliminate the leak until the end of last week. At this time, it is unclear exactly how long the source code has been in the public domain.

The company’s attorneys have filed a lawsuit demanding that the source code data be removed and the data of the user who posted this information be transferred to them.
