Air alert declared in eight regions of Ukraine

An air alert has been announced in central and eastern Ukraine, informs the official resource for alerting citizens.

Sirens are sounding in Kirovograd, Mykolaiv, Dnepropetrovsk, Poltava, Kharkiv, Sumy, Cherkasy and Chernihiv regions, as well as in Kiev-controlled areas of the Donetsk People’s Republic, Zaporizhzhia and Kherson regions.

The day before, sirens sounded in the capital and in 10 regions of central and eastern Ukraine, as well as in Kiev-controlled areas of the Zaporizhzhia region. Reports of explosions came from the Dnieper, Kiev and Kramatorsk.

“MK” broadcasts events in Ukraine. The 397th day of the special operation is underway. The Kremlin did not confirm preparations for Putin’s visit to Turkey and also said the West’s reaction would not affect plans to deploy tactical nuclear weapons in Belarus. Spiegel announced the arrival in Ukraine of 18 Leopard 2 tanks. Settlements in the Belgorod and Bryansk regions came under fire. Ani Lorak’s concert in Krasnodar was canceled due to her attitude to the special operation, local officials said.
