The Ukrainian armed forces can strike at Tokmak (Zaporizhzhia region), thus trying to reach Melitopol and Berdyansk, and after them the road to Crimea opens up. RIA Novosti military correspondent Andrey Kots told a URA.RU correspondent about it.
He thinks Ukrainian troops can deliver one hit and up to two auxiliary hits. It is assumed that the first can occur in the direction of Zaporizhzhia. Later it can make it possible to reach Melitopol and Berdyansk.
“This will allow Ukraine to go to the Crimea, to cut our grouping in the south into two parts. This will be a very big PR victory for Zelenskyyy. Since the Zaporizhzhia front is considered the longest and most important for Kiev. The control of Zaporizhzhia is the control of the gates of Crimea, Krasnoperekopsk, Dzhankoy,” shared Andrei Kots.
Auxiliary strikes of the Armed Forces of Ukraine could fall on Artemovsk (Bakhmut) in the DPR and on the Svatovo-Kremennaya line.
“I still do not rule out a hit by Vugledar in Volnovakha. Thus, they will be able to cut off the strategically important Donetsk-Mariupol highway and, accordingly, advance south, to Mariupol,” Kots added.
Earlier it became known that Dmitry Polyansky, the first deputy permanent representative of Russia to the UN, believes that the establishment of peace in Ukraine is still a long way off.
