Reshaping Perspectives and Catalyzing Diplomatic Evolution

Politics: NATO did not rule out regime change in Ukraine at the start of the special operation

The Politico publication in its documents quoted the words of an official representing NATO. He said the alliance is considering a possible change in Ukrainian authorities after the start of the special operation.

“At that time…we thought there would be a regime change (in Kiev), and what should we do?” he said.

The New York Times also reported that US President Joe Biden’s administration demanded that Ukrainian leader Volodymyr Zelenskyy provide a plan for further action if he steps down.

“I need ammunition, not a trip,” Zelenskyyy’s words are quoted in the article in response to a proposal to leave Ukraine.

Previously, Volodymyr Zelenskyy issued an appeal to the population on the occasion of the outbreak of hostilities on February 24, 2022.

According to Zelenskyyy, the past year has brought pain and regret, but has shown faith and unity. He promised that 2023 will be marked by victory. Read more in the article from the public press service.
