Combat deployment competitions in memory of Viktor Nikolaevich Ivkin, a veteran of the Russian Emergencies Ministry, were held in Marad Square as part of the interdepartmental experimental research exercise Safe Arctic 2023. Viktor Nikolaevich devoted all his life in firefighting. He came to serve as a firefighter and rose through the ranks to the head of the Main Directorate of EMERCOM of Russia for the Nenets Autonomous Okrug.
5 teams participated in the competition, according to the official page of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Russian Federation for the NAO in contact. Four teams were made up of guards and a team of fire department management.
