Trump could face up to 136 years in prison in total

April 5, 2023

Former US leader Donald Trump faces up to 136 years in prison. Such calculations were made by the Fox News channel, taking into account all 34 indictments against the former President of the United States, each providing up to four years in prison.

At the same time, journalists expressed the idea that the real sentence, if any, would be much softer. In addition, falsifying business records is a misdemeanor under current New York law. But if we are talking about the commission of appropriate actions with the aim of concealing another crime, then the offense is qualified as a crime, for which a penalty is already provided with a term of imprisonment of up to four years.

After the conclusion of Tuesday’s court hearing in New York, Trump said he was charged with an “entirely legal non-disclosure agreement” of information.
