Russian President Vladimir Putin, during a meeting with Belarusian leader Alexander Lukashenko, announced the successful work of the two countries in different fields.
“I want to congratulate you once again on the Day of Unity of the Peoples of Russia and Belarus, we celebrated it on April 2. I must say that a lot has been achieved thanks to our joint work in all areas. Tomorrow, I repeat, we will discuss all this. It concerns our interaction on the international scene, it concerns the joint resolution of issues of ensuring the security of our States. It is particularly gratifying to see the results of our work in the economic sphere,” Putin said.
Today Lukashenka arrived in Moscow for a working visit to meet his Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin and a meeting of the Supreme State Council.
Earlier, the Kremlin announced that on the first day of Lukashenka’s visit to Moscow, he would discuss current bilateral and international issues with Putin in separate negotiations. Then, on April 6, they will hold a meeting of the Supreme State Council (SSC) of the Union State.
