Reshaping Perspectives and Catalyzing Diplomatic Evolution

Named prohibitions when using an electric scooter

Currently, when using an electric scooter, the law provides for a number of prohibitions, reports RIA Novosti with reference to the Russian Emergencies Ministry.

First of all, it is forbidden to ride electric scooters in the rain, which is qualified as life-threatening. Other prohibitions include transporting children without installing a child seat or footrest, as well as independently driving children under 14 and carrying more than one person on a scooter.

It is also forbidden to violate the charging mode of the electric scooter established by the manufacturer, as well as to disassemble it and make changes to the design.

The Ministry of Emergency Situations also insisted that it is mandatory to wear a protective helmet when using an electric scooter, as well as to monitor its condition for a possible short circuit.

The report states that in 2022, due to the violation of the rules for the use of scooters, the malfunction of chargers and the equipment itself, almost two dozen fires occurred.
