Permanent Representative of Russia Ulyanov described the chances of ensuring the safety of the Zaporizhia nuclear power plant as small

The issue of ensuring the safety of the Zaporizhzhya nuclear power plant (ZNPP) has little chance in terms of implementation, although they still exist. Mikhail Ulyanov, Permanent Representative of Russia to international organizations in Vienna, shared this opinion on the situation.

“The chances of reaching an agreement, of course, remain, but they are not yet too great. In fact, the case rests on Kiev’s negative position,” he said in a comment to TASS.

The day before, Ulyanov met the Director General of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), Rafael Grossi. During the meeting, the parties discussed a wide range of issues, many of which related to ensuring the safe operation of the ZNPP.
