Indian cricket’s 2023-24 domestic season will begin with the Duleep Trophy tournament from June 28, while the Ranji Trophy will be held from January 5 next year. During this Duleep Trophy will be played between six regional teams.

This was followed by the Deodhar Trophy List A tournament (July 24-August 3), Irani Cup (October 1-5), Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy men’s T20 National Championship (October 16-November 6) and the Vijay Hazare ODI Trophy (November 23-December 3). 15) will be organized.

The Ranji Trophy will be the last tournament of the season in the senior men’s section. The league stage matches of its elite group will be played from January 5 to February 19, while the knockout stage will be held from February 23 to March 14. This tournament will last for 70 days. The league matches of the plate group will be played from January 5 to February 5 while the knockout stage will be played from February 9 to 22.

The Elite section will have eight teams each in four groups with the top two teams from each group qualifying for the quarter-finals. The top four teams out of six in the plate group will qualify for the semi-finals.

Both the teams that reach the final of the Plate Group will join the Elite Group in the upcoming season (2024-25). The last two teams in the overall standings of the 32 teams in the Elite Group will be relegated to the Plate Group. The senior women’s season will begin with the National T20 Championship to be played from October 19 to November 9, followed by the Inter-Zone T20 Trophy from November 24 to December 4.

The Senior Women’s ODI Trophy will be held from January 4 to 26. There will be five groups in the Senior Women’s T20 Trophy and ODI Trophy. There will be eight teams each in two groups while the remaining three groups will have seven teams each.

The top two teams in each group will qualify for the knockouts. After the group matches, the top six teams from these 10 teams will qualify for the quarter-finals while the last four teams will have to play pre-quarter-final matches for a place in the last eight.
