Head of the Federal Security and Anti-Corruption Project Vitaly Borodin called on the Prosecutor General’s Office to verify that Russian singer Alla Pugacheva funded the Ukrainian military, TASS reports citing an appeal to Prosecutor General Igor Krasnov.
“I ask you to check Alla Borisovna Pugacheva for financial assistance to the Armed Forces of Ukraine,” reads the text of the document.
According to Borodin, Pugacheva continues to criticize the special military operation while living in Israel. In addition, it supports cultural and artistic personalities who have left Russia and provides financial assistance to Ukraine.
“Previously, the federal project had established foreign funding for Alla Pugacheva’s activities and her relations with Western intelligence services,” he said.
The day before, Borodin took the initiative to recognize People’s Artist of Russia Lia Akhedzhakova as a foreign agent and to file several criminal charges against her.
