One of the KHL’s top scorers Vladimir Tkachev reunited in the NHL again

Avangard Hockey Club Omsk striker Vladimir Tkachev is not determined to continue his KHL career. According to agent Shumi Babaev, the player is looking for options in the National Hockey League.

It is stated that the striker was not satisfied with the Omsk team’s proposal for a new contract. The old deal expires on April 30. Therefore, the main goal now is to sign an NHL contract. According to the agent, communication with some foreign league clubs has already started.

In 64 regular season games, Vladimir Tkachev scored 23 goals and provided 36 assists. In terms of points, he only lost to SKA player Dmitry Yashkin (40 goals + 22 assists).

The striker previously tried to gain a foothold at the NHL club in the 2021/22 season but then played for the Los Angeles Kings in just four games.
