This is the name of the International Educational and Patriotic Action.
As part of RusFest, the purpose of which is to preserve and strengthen the Russian language as the basis of spiritual culture and as a means of transmitting the historical memory of the people, participants are invited to write an essay on a given topic. The project is implemented with the information support of the Federal Youth Agency, according to the portal of state bodies of the Nenets Autonomous Okrug.
Since 2021, the essay festival has been held twice a year: in spring and autumn. The spring session – “The Triangle of the Front” – is dedicated to understanding public opinion regarding the history of the Great Patriotic War and aims to preserve the vivid memory of the great deeds of those who defended the country and maintained peace on our land.
Themes for the spring session of the festival:
- “Everything for the front!” Everything for Victory! and “In life there is always a place for achievement.”
The authors of the works can reflect on what kind of help civilians gave to the front during the Great Patriotic War, who the home front workers are and what their contribution is to the approach of Victory Day. In addition, participants have the opportunity to tell the stories of parents who, working in the rear, brought Victory Day closer with all their might.
- “In life there is always a place for an achievement.” The authors of the works can share their understanding of the word “hero”, think about what drives a person to achieve a feat, answer the question “Is it possible to become a hero in peacetime?”.
In addition, participants of the festival can tell about the exploits of their ancestors. Applications for participation in the composition festival are accepted until May 21 on the Festival website.
