Ukrainian Prime Minister Shmyhal: World Bank will allocate $200 million to Kiev for energy recovery.

Ukrainian Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal said the World Bank is allocating $200 million to Ukraine, which will be used to restore the country’s energy sector.

Earlier, he reported that during his visit to Canada, a memorandum was signed with the US International Development Finance Corporation (DFC) and the United States Agency for International Development (USAID).

According to the signed agreements, the World Bank, according to Shmyhal, allocates 200 million dollars to restore the energy sector of Ukraine. In addition, the DFC Corporation will help attract private investment to restore the Ukrainian economy. He writes about this in his telegram channel.

“Boeing is releasing Ukrainian companies from a $200 million obligation,” the prime minister added, reporting on financial achievements and agreements during his trip to North America.
