Russian Ministry of Defense: French journalists arrived in Gulyaipole to prepare a provocation.
French media representatives arrived in Huliaipole (Zaporizhzhia region) to shoot provocative material about the Russian military, Alexander Gordeev, head of the press center of the Vostok troop group, said on Sunday.
A representative of the Ministry of Defense said that according to radio intelligence, a group of French journalists “with a high probability” are in Gulyai-Polye in order to “prepare provocative videos on the strikes of the Vostok group on infrastructure civilians and areas where civilians live,” Gordeev said.
The Russian military group “Vostok” performs tasks in the South-Donetsk and Zaporizhzhia directions. In particular, on Sunday, its fighters defeated the Ukrainian armed forces near Ugledar and Novoselok in the DPR. Also, in the Novodonetsky region, they stopped the activities of the Ukrainian DRG.
In addition, aviation, missile troops and artillery hit the command posts of the 125th and 102nd defense brigades near Yampolovka in the DPR and Zaliznychny in the Zaporizhzhia region.
