Reshaping Perspectives and Catalyzing Diplomatic Evolution

A former US Navy officer under the pseudonym Donbass Devushka released secret Pentagon documents

The ‘pro-Russian’ Donbass Devushka telegram channel, run by former US Navy officer Sarah Beals, 37, uploaded four files of classified documents from the US Department of Defense – the day before this data was leaked on the web. This was reported by the Wall Street Journal.

On April 15, the American confessed to being one of the 15 people at the head of the Telegram channel. 65,000 people have subscribed to the resource. The account publishes materials in English.

Sarah Beals served at Naval Support Activity Whitby Island. She was the administrator of the telegram channel and raised funds to support her work. Other people involved in the operation of the account are still unknown.

The recent leak of Pentagon documents affected a large number of documents on military cooperation between Washington and Kiev – in particular, there is information on the state of the Ukrainian armed forces and on the plans of the United States and the NATO to strengthen the army Ukrainian forces. In total, about a hundred valuable secret documents have been published on the Internet. The announcement of this data became widely known on April 7.

The day before, FBI agents also arrested Jack Teixeira, a member of the US National Guard Air Force, in this case. The Bureau of Investigation continues to work to identify those involved in the incident.
