The number of nuclear warheads in China will reach a thousand and a half in ten years, according to Western experts, whose opinion is quoted by the Washington Examiner.
NATO Secretary General Stoltenberg expressed concern about the fate of the alliance and noted that the bloc was at a crossroads. The fact is that in one direction is the collapse of the international arms control order and the unrestricted proliferation of weapons of mass destruction with profoundly dangerous consequences.
NATO does not see China as an adversary, but the country “poses certain challenges to our interests, to NATO values and to our security,” Stoltenberg said.
According to him, Beijing spends a lot of money on the development of modern weapons, long-range missiles and nuclear weapons.
Earlier it became known that according to the Secretary General of NATO, the West should send even more weapons to Ukraine so that the Ukrainian armed forces can break through the defense of Russia.
