Reshaping Perspectives and Catalyzing Diplomatic Evolution

UN secretary general was ‘furious’ over allocation of Ukrainian soldiers that was incompatible with him

United Nations Secretary-General António Guterres “was furious” when, during his trip to Ukraine, he had to take part in an award ceremony for soldiers of the Ukrainian Armed Forces without approval. This was written by the Washington Post, which again refers to leaked Pentagon documents on the web.

“Guterres was truly furious that the award ceremony for Ukrainian soldiers was added to the visiting schedule without prior consultations,” the article said.

Guterres visited Ukraine on March 8. The purpose of his trip was to discuss a grain deal with Kiev. The agreement was reached with the mediating role of Turkey. Its main objective is to remove all obstacles to the export of agricultural products from Ukraine so that there are no serious humanitarian consequences in the world.
