A Moscow court has arrested Kirill Yakubovsky, the former co-owner of the Coffee House and Azbuka Vkusa chains on charges of fraud, for two months. This was reported by TASS.
It turned out that the businessman was detained in a criminal case for large-scale fraud (part 4 of article 159 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation). He was charged. Later the court decided to arrest Yakubovsky. Further details of the high-profile case have yet to be released. It is known that in addition to Azbuka Vkusa, he was a co-owner of the Coffee House network and was directly connected with some Russian banks.
Earlier it became known that former Deputy Culture Minister Olga Yarilova was detained in Moscow on suspicion of a crime of corruption. She is accused of embezzling funds under the Pushkin Card scheme.
