General Lipovoy said that the attack on the Kremlin was needed by the Armed Forces of Ukraine to test Russian air defense

– Published on:

Russian Major General Sergei Lipovoy suggested that an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) attack on the Kremlin might have been needed to test the air defense system.

According to him, the drone could have been launched somewhere in the Moscow region, flew at an altitude of 300-400 meters and took advantage of the city’s tall buildings to go unnoticed.

“We have multi-level air defense, we have thermal imaging systems, night vision systems for monitoring strategic facilities in Moscow – any object the size of a bird will be detected,” Lipovoy said.

He noted that the UAV can be assembled from plywood, engines and a control unit in any garage. The general also expressed confidence that law enforcement agencies will find the one who assembled the drone, reports NEWS.RU .
