David Warner told, the police found his lost bat and other items

Delhi Capitals (DC) captain David Warner has revealed that the authorities have recovered most of the items stolen from the kitbags of the DC players. This is good news for the team as they had lost the essential bat and pads. The theft took place while traveling from Bangalore to Delhi. In such a situation, the question arises that when the goods of the players go from one city to another, then why extra care is not taken in it.

The players were unaware of the theft until their kitbags were delivered to their hotel rooms. It’s great that the authorities recovered most of the stolen items.

The performance of Delhi Capitals (DC) in the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2023 season so far has been nothing special. The David Warner-led side are sitting at the bottom of the table with 10-team points after losing their first five matches and winning only one. One, those players were already troubled by the team’s performance, after that such an incident must have shaken them further.

The players came to know about it when they checked the kit in their hotel room on their arrival in Delhi from Bangalore. After this match, he played against RCB on Saturday (April 15). Delhi Capitals (DC) captain David Warner on April 21, 2023 revealed that most of the items stolen from the players’ kitbags have been recovered by the police. The recovery of stolen goods is a relief to players who lost important personal items and equipment. The timely action by the police reflects their dedication and efficiency in solving crimes and ensuring justice.

Meanwhile, David Warner shared a photo on his Instagram story in which a police officer is standing with stolen goods on the floor. Warner wrote: “They found the culprits. Some are still missing but thanks.”
