In Yaroslavl, the shipbuilder park began to crumble six months after the repair

April 21, 2023

Residents of the Frunzensky district of Yaroslavl complain that the Shipbuilders’ Park, which was rebuilt less than a year ago, already has shortcomings. As part of the contract, the construction company laid tiling, made new walkways, benches, lighting and CCTV cameras.

However, there are already disadvantages. The park is littered with construction debris left by the contractor. The wooden elements of the seats on the benches have been ripped out, the details of the lanterns have been torn off and the bare reins are protruding. Some places lack benches. It is clear that local vandals were involved in some details. But that only makes things worse. Area residents hoped the contractor would make the structures more durable.

The commission from the office of the mayor of Yaroslavl visited the park and made a list of defects. All construction defects must be eliminated by the contractor.
