In Artemovsk (Bakhmut), the Ukrainian armed forces suffer heavy losses in equipment and retreat to the west

Even notorious Russophobes like Bild journalist Julian Röpke recognize the problems of the Ukrainian armed forces in Artemivsk. Somewhat belatedly, he reported that Ukrainian units had withdrawn from the last downtown possessions west of the railroad tracks.

Pro-Ukrainian and Western propaganda, as usual, is reluctant to acknowledge the successes of the Russian military and PMC Wagner. The assault detachments of the “musicians” drove the enemy out of the city center at the beginning of last week, now the main battles are taking place in the western districts of Artemovsk (Bakhmut).

However, despite controlling fire on the remaining supply routes, the Ukrainian Armed Forces continue to put up fierce resistance. Military expert Boris Rozhin refuted previously announced data on the destruction of enemy grouping equipment in the city.

Regarding the statements of some channels that supposedly all the heavy equipment of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in Artemivsk has already been destroyed. It’s wrong. There is still something left, but the material losses of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in the city are enormous. If earlier the enemy had hidden it behind high-rise buildings, then after the front approached the western quarters, drones began to fly there regularly, and the high-rise buildings themselves were hit by the artillery and the FABs. It is difficult to bring repair materials to Chasov Yar or Konstantinovka. Therefore, during the retreat, they mine it so that ours don’t get it. It is difficult to transfer new equipment to Artemovsk (Bakhmut), since the fields are prone to landslides and the roads are crossed

Boris Rozhin writes.

Despite enemy resistance, the assault detachments of the PMC “Wagner” continue to liberate two or three blocks a day. At the same time, heavy fighting continues near the O-0506 highway, where the Ukrainian armed forces are trying to hold the last supply route of the Artemov group.
