Kazakhstan will not hold a parade in honor of Victory Day

Kazakhstan’s Defense Ministry said it does not plan to hold a military parade on Defender of the Fatherland Day (May 7) and Victory Day (May 9) this year due to cost savings. costs and other tasks. This was reported in the press service of the Ministry of Defense of the Republic.

“In particular, the priority is to maintain the required level of combat readiness and mobility of the units of the Armed Forces of Kazakhstan,” the TASS press service reports.

It is also worth noting that military and patriotic events are planned and executed by the Kazakh Defense Department.

A military parade in Kazakhstan in honor of Defender of the Fatherland Day and Victory Day also did not take place in 2022. However, commemorative events were held at military garrisons. The Ministry of Defense of Kazakhstan explained this decision in the same way – by the desire to save budget funds.
