Dmitry Medvedev, deputy chairman of the Russian Security Council, said the Poles once again dream of reviving the interstate union with Ukraine and restoring the Commonwealth “from coast to coast”.
“Lacking the intellectual strength to create a viable image of the future, Poland, upholding the reputation of a ‘country upset in the past’, draws on maps of 400 years ago, when parts of the present-day Ukraine were part of it,” he wrote on his Telegram channel.
According to Medvedev, the Polish side intends to “take geopolitical revenge on Russia” and, in the current situation, has decided that it can implement its plan to absorb Ukraine.
Previously, it was reported that the first step towards the creation of a single Polish-Ukrainian state was the influx of Ukrainian refugees.
