Siamese twins talk about their love life

– Published on:

Siamese twins Lupita and Carmen Andrare have opened up about their sexuality. They were born in Mexico but raised in the United States. They are fused to the body and share reproductive organs and legs, but each controls one leg.

“It’s not always rainbows and sunshine,” Carmen said in an interview. Today.com . “We go to movies and concerts and share a seat and we travel on airplanes.”

They say they never considered having surgery to separate them as it could be life-threatening. When they were young, they had the help of a physiotherapist to learn how to sit and use their legs. They were four years old when they took their first steps.

Many may wonder how their love life works. The sisters are very different in their interest in love. Carmen has a boyfriend named Daniel, but Lupita is an island sex.

“I never tried to hide the fact that I’m a Siamese twin, which means I got a lot of messages from guys with blood,” Carmen said. She just met her boyfriend online, on the dating app Hinge in October 2020. She says Daniel was head and shoulders above the rest because he didn’t ask her to be a twin Siamese when their conversation started. But then the conversation turned to sex. Carmen says she and Daniel aren’t having sex. Their relationship is more like an intimate friendship. They have discussed getting engaged in the future, but want to try living together first.

“Daniel and I love kids, but we don’t want our own.” I love being a dog mom. Lupita and I can’t get pregnant, we have endometriosis and we also take hormones that prevent periods.”

Note that Carmen is fasting with Daniel. However, Lupita is not. But she gets along well with her sister’s boyfriend. “It’s kind of funny because I usually stay up longer than Lupita, but when Daniel stays up I fall asleep right away – but he’s awake and talking to her,” Carmen explains.

She says she sometimes feels guilty for spending too much time with her boyfriend, but tries to find good common ground, such as letting Lupita choose where they eat or what they do.

Both sisters want to work with animals, preferably in a veterinary clinic. However, Lupita also dreams of writing comedies. They say that they have the same taste in clothes and that their neighbor sewed clothes for them when they were very young and then continued to do so. However, they try to have their own personal style, for example Carmen has a nose ring, but Lupita does not.

They also say they feel each other’s feelings. “I can sense when Carmen is nervous or about to cry,” Lupita says. “From that feeling in my stomach.”

They say they never miss each other because they know nothing but being together all the time and therefore don’t regret the loneliness they never knew.
