Reshaping Perspectives and Catalyzing Diplomatic Evolution

“I’m really grateful to them”: Jungkook shares touching stories about mom and dad

Idols rarely show and talk about their parents. The other day, Jungkook made an exception and shared incredibly cute episodes from the life of his own family, especially parents, with the audience.

The idol said that the parents know all BTS songs by heart. They can guess and even sing any of them. This resonated deeply with ARMYs, who commented on how passionate the parents are about what their son does.

The artist also talked about childhood, where one of the most vivid memories was how Dad dressed up as Santa Claus so that then-little Jungkook could believe in miracles for as long as possible. It was also revealed that the idol managed to convince her father to quit smoking. The man listened to his son and for several years he has not even touched cigarettes, which Jungkook is extremely happy about.

Another touching topic was my mother’s story. Cook remembers that she instilled a very important quality in him: honesty. This happened during school tests, in which the artist wanted to get the highest possible score. To get the top grade, he was even willing to cheat, but his mother told him that staying honest was much more important than earning extra points.

Of course, Jungkook noted that his parents always gave him freedom of choice. They enthusiastically accepted all of their son’s ideas and never tried to dissuade him from a singing career. “I’m so grateful to them,” Cookie pointed out in her Beloved Parents Story.
