Some employees of the diplomatic missions of Germany on Monday, May 1, left Russia. This was reported to the Foreign Ministry of Germany. At the same time, the ministry did not give their exact number.
The German Foreign Ministry recalled that in mid-March a number of employees of Russian diplomatic missions left Germany due to the fact that their activities would not correspond to their status as diplomats.
“The Russian government, for its part, has asked a similar number of German mission employees to leave the country,” the Foreign Ministry said.
Recall that at the end of April, the official representative of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation, Maria Zakharova, in an interview with Zvezda, said that more than 20 German diplomats would be sent from Moscow in response to Berlin shares.
